Recently, my eleven year-old daughter Alex, began Operation Write Danny by having her fourth grade class at Forsyth Elementary School write letters for Thanksgiving.  Danny is my brother and Alex's Uncle and has enlisted in the U.S. Army.  Danny completed Basic Combat Raining at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on November 30, 2007.  From there he went to Texas for his AIT, and is currently stationed at Camp Casey in South Korea.  Your support of my brother and our troops is greatly needed.  You too can be part of this operation by writing letters to Danny and other service men in his Unit--as I get their names and ranks, they will be posted on this page.  Below is a slide show of his Platoon's Basic Training.
